Hello everyone, and welcome to our IELTS preparation class! My name is Lyon Leshley, and I’m excited to be your guide on this journey toward achieving your IELTS goals. I have been teaching English for over 25 years, and I’ve helped many students successfully navigate the IELTS exam.
This class will focus on the four main components of the IELTS: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. Each skill is crucial, not just for passing the exam, but also for enhancing your overall English proficiency.
Throughout this course, we will cover strategies and techniques to boost your scores. We’ll have mock tests, writing workshops, and speaking practice sessions to ensure you’re well-prepared.
My goal is to create an interactive and supportive learning environment where we can all learn from each other. I encourage you to share your goals for the IELTS, whether it’s to study abroad, seek professional opportunities, or simply improve your English skills.

English Essay Writing Class
Hello everyone, and welcome to our English essay writing class! My name is Lyon Leshley, and I’m thrilled to have you all here. I have a passion for writing and teaching, and over the last 25 years, I’ve helped many students sharpen their writing skills to express their ideas more clearly and effectively.
In this class, we will dive deep into the essential elements of good essay writing. Whether you’re preparing for academic assessments, applying for jobs, or simply want to communicate better in writing, mastering essay writing is a crucial skill. We’ll cover everything from constructing a strong thesis statement to developing coherent arguments and refining your writing through revision.
We will also have opportunities for hands-on practice with group discussions, writing exercises, and peer feedback. Writing is a process, and it takes time to develop your unique style, so I encourage all of you to actively participate and learn from one another.
The duration of the class is 10 hours.
Beginners French (A1)

Purpose of the Class
In this 40-hour course, you will gain a solid foundation in French, enabling you to communicate in simple situations and understand basic phrases. Whether you’re planning a trip to a Francophone country, looking to immerse yourself in French culture, or simply wanting to learn a new skill, this class is perfect for you!
Course Overview
Throughout the course, we will cover essential topics such as:
- Basic greetings and introductions
- Common vocabulary for everyday situations, like shopping, dining, and travel
- Simple grammar concepts, including present tense verbs and pronouns
- Listening and speaking exercises to build your confidence in conversation
- And much more!
We will have interactive activities, group discussions, and practical exercises that will not only help you learn the language but also make the learning process fun and engaging!
Goals and Expectations
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable practicing your French. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some exposure to the language, everyone is welcome, and together we will progress at a comfortable pace.
I encourage active participation and making mistakes—it’s all part of the learning process! By the end of this course, you’ll be able to understand and use simple expressions and interact in a basic way.
This class is 2 hours a day, 5 days a week for one month.
Beginners French (A2)

Purpose of the Class
In this 40-hour course, we will build upon the foundations of the French language that you’ve already acquired. By enhancing your vocabulary and deepening your understanding of grammar, you’ll be able to communicate more effectively in everyday situations. Whether you’re preparing for travel, wanting to connect more deeply with the French-speaking community, or simply looking to improve your language skills, this class is just for you!
Course Overview
Throughout our time together, we will cover a variety of exciting topics, including:
- Expanding your vocabulary related to themes such as daily activities, family, hobbies, and travel
- Key grammar concepts, including past and future tenses, adjectives, and question formation
- Listening and speaking practice through dialogues, role-plays, and interactive exercises
- Opportunities for reading comprehension with short texts and simple articles
- Cultural insights into Francophone countries and their customs

My goal is to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment where you can practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French.
