This project uses AI — research tools, narration, and an AI-generated presenter — to produce lecture series at a scale no single teacher could manage alone, covering everything from ancient Greek philosophy to modern physics. Lyon reviews every lecture for accuracy before it’s published, and the series is being translated into multiple languages so it can reach learners anywhere.

The goal is simple: build the largest free video lecture series on philosophy and academic subjects, and make quality education available to anyone, regardless of where they live or what they can afford.

How this project works

Each lecture starts with a research pass using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) — an AI process that pulls from academic books, journals, and expert sources rather than generating claims from memory alone. Lyon reviews every script for accuracy and coherence before anything is recorded. The narration and on-screen presenter are AI-generated, which is what makes it possible to produce lectures at this pace and translate them into multiple languages — but the research, review, and final judgment on what’s taught stay in Lyon’s hands.
