Lyon Leshley is an educator with a longstanding interest in philosophy and critical thinking. When this project began, it was envisioned as traditional lectures. However, as AI technology evolved, Lyon recognized something important: AI could generate comprehensive educational content at a scale no individual teacher could match. Rather than competing with this capability, Lyon decided to collaborate with it—lending his name and presence to help bring AI-generated educational material to learners worldwide.

This lecture series explores critical thinking, culture, history, language, math, and science—from ancient Greek philosophy to modern scientific breakthroughs. The lectures are created through AI collaboration, using tools with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to curate and synthesize material from academic books, journals, websites, and expert sources. Lyon reviews the content for accuracy and coherence. The video presentations, including voice narration and avatar, are AI-generated, and lectures are being translated into multiple languages to reach a global audience.

The goal is straightforward: to create the largest accessible video lecture series on philosophy and academic topics, making quality education available to anyone, anywhere. This isn’t about individual genius—it’s about recognizing how AI technology can democratize education and being willing to facilitate that process.
